CCS MENTORING / TUTORING PROGRAM

 

We, at Campus Charter Elementary School, believe in providing educational tutoring/mentoring services to help you understand the academic needs of your child. Together, with you and your child, we partner to develop a successful plan for your child’s academic achievement. Our students’ first teachers are you the parent. Therefore, parent involvement is not just essential but needs to be consistent in a child’s academic success. All students are capable of studying and must be encouraged to do so. It is essential that your child feels good about her/himself and that they are capable of learning the material with assistance.

 

Your child will be given a pre-assessment evaluation, which looks for strengths and areas in need of improvement in the overall understanding of the subject areas provided. After finishing the evaluation, we will be able to establish what grade level your child is presently operating at.  Having gained insight into the path your child needs to take to be more successful, we will design a curriculum that will direct your child towards the place they need to be at, in order to feel more confident at school.
